Liuzhou Steel issues year-to-date results

As of November 18, the year-to-date revenue from the primary businesses of Guangxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Liuzhou Iron and Steel Co., Ltd (Liuzhou Steel) came to RMB 41.6 billion ($6.28 billion), according to the latest financial report issued by the company. The revenue of the steelmaker for the whole of 2010 is expected to exceed RMB 45 billion ($6.79 billion).

As of November 15, Liuzhou Steel's production of pig iron in 2010 exceeded 8 million mt. Meanwhile, the company's rolled steel output in the same period surpassed 9 million mt. 

During the first 10 months of the current year, Liuzhou Steel's export volume of rolled steel products was 329,500 mt, with a total value of $203 million.
