Linxi Jinyu starts trial ferromolybdenum production

Linxi Jinyu Company, a subsidiary of Liaoning-based Chinese steelmaker Dongbei Special Steel, has carried out trial production on the first phase of its ferromolybdenum production project.
 
Construction work on the first phase of the project, a phase which will have an annual capacity of 10,000 mt of ferromolybdenum, started in January 2010, while the investment in this phase reached RMB 140 million ($21.5 million). The second stage of the ferromolybdenum production project will come on stream in May 2012 with an annual output capacity of 20,000 mt.
