On July 1, Hunan Province-based LianYuan Steel reduced its ex-factory prices for a number of products. The details are as follows:
HR:
The ex-factory prices for HR have decreased RMB 120/mt ($16/mt). As a result, the new price of 2.75 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,110/mt ($541/mt), while that of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 3,910/mt ($514/mt).
CR:
The ex-factory prices for CR have been reduced by RMB 90/mt ($12/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is RMB 4,700/mt ($618/mt).
Full Hard:
Full Hard ex-factory prices have declined RMB 100/mt ($13/mt). Thus, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC Full Hard is RMB 4,350/mt ($572/mt).
HDG:
The producer's ex-factory prices for HDG have decreased RMB 120/mt ($16/mt). Following the adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick ST012 is RMB 5,050/mt ($664/mt).
The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of July 1, 2007.
