Lianyuan Steel adjusts prices

Hunan province based Lianyuan Steel increased its ex-factory prices on April 15, over its previous price adjustment on April 1: 1. It hiked hot rolled sheet/coil prices by RMB 80/mt ($10). The new price of 2.75 mm Q235 is RMB 4,140/mt ($517), and that of 5.5 mm Q235 is RMB 3,960/mt ($494). 2. The prices of cold rolled sheet/coil and galvanized sheet increased by RMB 50/mt ($6). Now, the ex-factory price of 1.0 mm SPCC is 4,820/mt ($602), and that of 1.0 mm ST012 galvanized sheet is RMB 4,850/mt ($605). The above prices include taxes and are effective from April 16, 2006.
