Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steelmaker Lianfeng Iron and Steel Co.. (Lianfeng Steel), a subsidiary of Jiangsu-based Chinese steelmaker Yonggang Group Co., completed a hot trial run for its new eight-strand continuous billet caster on September 14, according to Beijing-based Chinese state-run company China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC). The continuous caster was designed by China Metallurgical Group Corporation Capital Engineering and Research Incorporation Limited (MCC-CERI), a subsidiary of MCC.
