Larsen & Toubro will supply annealing and processing line to Tata Steel

Indian technology, engineering, construction and manufacturing company Larsen & Toubro's minerals and metals business unit has secured an order worth INR 5.23 billion (116,98 milyon $) from Indian giant Tata Steel Limited for supply of a continuous annealing and processing line with a capacity of 600,000 mt.

According to a Larsen & Toubro statement, Nippon Steel Engineering will provide the technology and imported line equipment. Larsen & Toubro's scope encompasses technical and project management services, design and engineering, supply of plant & equipment, utilities, and civil & structural works. The project is scheduled to be completed in 30 months.
