On November 13, Shandong Province-based Laiwu Iron and Steel Co., Ltd reduced its ex-factory prices for hot rolled coil, effective immediately. The details are as follows:
The producer's price of Q235 3.0-11.75 mm hot rolled coil has been reduced by RMB 300/mt ($43.98/mt), while its price for Q345 is RMB 150/mt ($21.99/mt) higher than that for Q235.
As a result, Q235 3.0-11.75 mm hot rolled coil is now priced at RMB 3,100/mt ($454.54/mt), including VAT.
In addition, on November 15, the same producer decreased its ex-factory prices for rebar, with immediate effect:
The producer's price of HRB 335 16-25 mm rebar has been reduced by 150/mt ($21.99/mt). Meanwhile, HRB 400 costs RMB 200/mt ($29.32/mt) more than HRB 335 of the same size.
As a result, HRB 335 16-25 mm rebar is now priced at RMB 3,600/mt ($527.85/mt), including VAT.
All the above prices include 17 percent VAT.
