Korean mills request AD investigation against ss bar imports

As reported by the industry sources, five Korean mills have filed their complaints against stainless steel round bar and angle imports from India, Japan and Spain. The Korean mills state that these products from these countries are being dumped and causing defect to the domestic industry. According to the mill the prices of imported goods are 20-30% lower than the domestic prices. The Korean ministry of commerce is currently considering whether to start an investigation to study the case. A decision in this respect is expected to come out within the next two months.
