Kardemir starts producing first batch of rail order for Middle East

Turkish long steel producer Kardemir Karabuk Demir Celik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (Kardemir) has announced that it has received a letter of credit for payment of the first batch of a steel rail export order totaling 170,000 mt for the Middle East to be supplied within one year. Kardemir stated that it has accordingly started the production of the first batch, which consists of 14,000 mt.
