JSW Steel’s January crude steel output rises nine percent year on year

The Indian steelmaker JSW Steel Limited has announced that its crude steel output in January 2011 rose by nine percent year on year to 580,000 mt.
 
Meanwhile, in the same month, the company's flat product output totaled 462,000 mt, increasing by 39 percent, while its long product output decreased by 10 percent to 91,000 mt, both compared to the same month of the previous year.
