JSW Steel’s crude steel output rises by one percent in June quarter

JSW Steel, one of the largest Indian steelmakers, produced 3.91 million mt of crude steel in the first quarter ending June 30 of the financial year 2017-18, showing a growth of one percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

According to the company's statement, in the first quarter JSW Steel produced 2.76 million mt of flat rolled products, increasing by one percent, while its long rolled product output totaled 830,000 mt, down two percent, both on year-on-year basis.
