Gansu Province-based Chinese steel producer Jiuquan Iron and Steel Group (Jiuquan Steel) has announced that in 2011 its annual crude steel and finished steel outputs both exceeded 10 million mt for the first time ever.
Meanwhile, Jiuquan Steel's sales revenue for the year totaled RMB 84.38 billion ($13.40 billion), up 48.2 percent year on year, while its net profit reached RMB 1.715 billion ($272.3 million), up 38.6 percent year on year.
