Gansu Province-based Chinese steelmaker Jiuquan Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd has announced that test runs have commenced on the packaging machine at the No. 1 galvanizing line at itş carbon steel sheet plant. With the new machine, the steel producer will have the capacity to package large volumes of HDG coils.
Construction of Jiuquan Steel's No. 1 galvanizing line was completed on June 16, 2010. The line can produce steel plates in thicknesses of 0.6-1.5 mm and in widths up to 1.2 m.
