Jiujiang Steel completes hot trial run at converter No. 2

Jiangxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Jiujiang Iron and Steel Co. (Jiujiang Steel) has announced that it successfully completed a hot trial run at its converter No. 2 on October 29.
 
Jiujiang Steel is currently carrying out a project to build two 50 mt converters - converters No. 1 and No. 2. The melting shop in the project has a designed annual capacity of 2 million mt of molten steel.
