JISCO sees net profit of RMB 810 million in 2012

In 2012, the crude steel and finished steel outputs of Gansu Province-based Chinese steelmaker Jiuquan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd (JISCO) both exceeded 10 million mt, while the company's annual sales revenue reached RMB 101.5 billion ($16.4 billion), up 20.3 percent year on year and exceeding RMB 100 billion for the first time, as reported by China Metallurgical News.

Additionally, in the given year JISCO's total industrial output value was RMB 77.5 billion ($12.5 billion), up 19.27 percent year on year. Furthermore, JISCO's net profit in 2012 amounted to RMB 810 million ($130.6 million), while many domestic steel enterprises reported losses for the year.
