Jindal Stainless to invest Rs 4.5 billion in Hisar

Indian steel producer Jindal Stainless is planning to invest Rupees 4.5 billion ($99.7 million) in its plant in Hisar within 2-3 years. The investment will be made to increase capacity of value-added products and slab casting facility. In line with the capacity expansion plan, the stainless steel capacity at Hisar will be 600'000 tons of melting, 750'000 tons of hot rolled and 250'000 tons of cold rolled products.
