On August 1, Shandong Province-based Jinan Iron and Steel Group Corporation (Jinan Steel) adjusted its ex-factory prices for flats.
The ex-factory prices of CR products have remained unchanged. As a result, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is still RMB 4,590/mt ($607/mt).
The ex-factory prices of HR products have increased RMB 100/mt ($13/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HR is RMB 3,880/mt ($513/mt).
The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of August 1, 2007.
