The Industry and Information Commission of China's Jiangxi Province has given local steelmaker Ji'an Steel Co. the green light to produce HRB 400E rebar. In tests carried out by Ji'an Quality Technology Supervision and Inspection Center, HRB 400E rebar trial-produced by Ji'an Steel was found to be in line with national standards.
The annual steel production capacity of Ji'an Steel is 500,000 mt. Its production facilities include a 75 mt electric arc furnace, a 80 mt ladle furnace, a four-strand billet continuous caster, a rebar production line and a wire rod production line.
