In February this year, Italy's steel exports to non-EU countries totaled 832,000 metric tons, up by 26.8 percent, while its steel imports from non-EU sources totaled 1,155,000 metric tons, down by 8.7 percent, both year on year, according to the statistics released by the Italian steel producers' association Federacciai.
