Italy’s crude steel output up 10.2 percent in January-July

According to the figures released by the Italian steel producers' association Federacciai, in July this year Italian crude steel output rose by 15.3 percent year on year, reaching 2.6 million metric tons. Meanwhile, Italian mills produced 17.3 million metric tons of crude steel in the first seven months of 2011, up 10.2 percent compared to the same period of 2010.
