ISG achieved record shipments for Q3 of 2004

According to the statement released by Ohio-based steel producer International Steel Group (ISG), the company's shipments in the third quarter of 2004 have reached a record level of 4'039'000 tons. ISG officials stated that the acquisitions of Weirton Steel and Georgetown Steel have contributed to the increase in the shipments. The officials also stated that ISG is on the way of becoming the leader in the North American steel industry.
