Iron ore inventory at major Chinese ports down slightly

As of June 15, total iron ore inventory at thirty major Chinese ports came to 96.46 million mt, down 200,000 mt week on week, as reported by the China Mining website.

During the week ending June 15, Australian iron ore supplies to Japan increased, causing a significant drop in ex-Australia iron ore arrivals at Chinese ports. Meanwhile, in the given week a slight increase was seen in arrivals of ex-Brazil and ex-India cargos at Chinese ports.
