Iron ore inventory at Chinese ports totals 95.86 million mt

On July 1, iron ore inventory at Chinese ports totaled 95.86 million mt, reaching a peak level for the past few years, according to China's National Bureau of Statistics.
 
According to the China Metallurgical Mines Association, the swelling of iron ore inventory at domestic ports was mainly due to the gap between import costs and domestic sales prices.
