Iran’s steel output up

Iranian Mines and Industry Research and Renovation Organization disclosed that the country's finished steel production amounted to around 5.5 million tons during the first seven months of the current Iranian year. Hot rolled coil production rose 12 percent to 2.5 million tons, while rebar production increased 22 percent to 1.7 million tons. Furthermore, beam production rose 5.7 percent to 940'000 tons.
