Iranian steelmaker Esfahan Steel (ESCO) has announced that it has shipped its first rebar cargo to the UK.

The export shipment came after that the company received UK Certification Authority for Reinforcing Steels (CARES) certificate for the conformity of its round bars with BS 4449: Grade B500B in December. This certificate is expected to help ESCO to reach steel exports of 1.1 million mt in the current Iranian year ending March 20, 2018.
