Iranian alloy steel producer Iran Alloy Steel produced 185,000 mt of semi-finished steel (billet, bloom and ingot) and 191,000 mt of finished steel (rebar) in the first nine months of the current Iranian year, which started on March 21, 2010.
The figures represent a stable trend and an increase of 16 percent respectively compared to the same period of the last Iranian year, according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
