Iran Alloy Steel launches billet production line

Iran Alloy Steel Company, based in the central Iranian city of Yazd, has launched a new casting line for alloy steel and special steel billets weighing 3.3 metric tons.

The company MD Mr.Hokmollah Babaie stated that they are able to roll bars of 300 mm in diameter and slabs of 500 mm in width with their new billet production line. He went on to add that the launch of the new production line would result in increased output, higher productivity, and in waste reduction. Iran Alloy Steel Co. already produces more than 200,000 mt of alloy steel bars per year.
