The main Iranian alloy steel producer,
Iran Alloy Steel Co., produced 204,204 mt of crude steel (bloom) and 184,025 mt of finished products including plain round bars, in the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2009), representing increases of about 10 percent and three percent respectively compared with 184,827 mt of crude steel and 178,555 mt of finished products in the corresponding period of the previous Iranian year - according to the newly published statistics from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
