The Ukrainian pipe and railway wheel producer Interpipe Corporation (Interpipe) has announced that its Dnepropetrovsk-based subsidiary Interpipe NTRP has passed the audit for the quality management system of wheel products meeting the demands of the RISAS standard (Railway Industry Supplier Approval Scheme). The auditor was international independent certifying agency RIQC, Great Britain.

"Receiving the status of a RISAS supplier confirms that our KLW wheel products meet the highest quality standards in the railway industry. The audit provides us with an opportunity to develop and improve both production technology and the quality management system at Interpipe NTRP," reads the company's statement.

RISAS is the only railway industry supplier approval scheme of products and services for rolling stock repairs, and is one of the most authoritative standards for product quality approval for railway wheel transport not only in Great Britain, but also in Europe.
