ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih's finished steel output down 1.9% in 2014

In 2014, the crude steel production of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian subsidiary of global steel giant ArcelorMittal, totaled 6.2914 million mt, down 2.16 percent year on year, as announced by the company.

In addition, in the given year ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih saw a 1.9 percent decrease year on year in its finished steel output to 5.5554 million mt, while its pig iron production decreased by 1.06 percent year on year to 5.5466 million mt.

In December last year, crude steel production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih decreased by 11.04 percent to 502,100 mt, output of finished steel declined by 11.14 percent to 445,200 mt, while production of pig iron moved down by 11.37 percent to 440,400 mt, all on year-on-year basis.
