Interpipe’s steel pipe output increases by 81.5 percent in January-July

According to preliminary data, in the first seven months of 2010 the pipe producing subsidiaries of Ukraine's Interpipe Corporation (Interpipe) increased their steel pipe output by 81.5 percent to 469,100 mt as compared to the same period of last year.
 
Specifically, in January-July this year, Interpipe NTRP registered a 66.4 percent increase in its steel pipe production to 193,700 mt, Interpipe NMPP saw its steel pipe output increase by 41 percent to 103,800 mt, while Interpipe Niko Tube's steel pipe output rose by 150.5 percent to 171,600 mt, all compared to the same period last year.
 
Meanwhile, in July this year, Interpipe NTRP produced 31,200 mt of pipes - up 0.6 percent, NMPP produced 19,800 mt of pipes - up 14.4 percent, while Niko Tube's pipe output amounted to 24,900 mt - down 14.7 percent, all compared to June.
