Interpipe begins large diameter seamless pipe production

Ukrainian steel pipe and railway wheel producer Interpipe has announced that it has begun producing large diameter seamless pipes according to GOST and EN standards. The large diameter pipes are developed at Interpipe NTRP, where the previous maximum mill range was limited to 377 mm.
 
In October 2012, pipes of 426 mm diameter with 10 mm wall thickness were produced for Belorussian consumers. In January 2013, Interpipe produced pipes of 406.4 mm diameter with wall thicknesses of 50 mm and 68 mm for Polish consumers. Finally, in the third quarter of 2013, pipes of 406.4 mm diameter with 10-70 mm wall thickness were produced and delivered to German consumers.
