In the January-July period this year, the value-added industrial output of the ferrous metal smelting and rolling sector in China recorded a year-on-year rise of 6.7 percent, 1.2 percentage points faster compared to the increase in the first six months of the current year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). In July alone, the value-added industrial output of the ferrous metal smelting and rolling sector in China indicated a year-on-year increase of 15.6 percent, 7.8 percentage points faster than the increase recorded in June.
In the first seven months, China's overall value-added industrial output increased by 3.8 percent year on year. In July alone, the overall value-added industrial output increased by 3.7 percent year on year, while it rose by 0.01 percent month on month.
In July, the value-added industrial outputs in the mining and manufacturing sectors rose by 1.3 percent and by 3.9 percent year on year, respectively.
