Indonesian steel producer GRP orders new reversing cold rolling mill

German plantmaker SMS Group has announced that it will supply a reversing cold rolling mill (RCM) for the Indonesian steel producer PT Gunung Raja Paksi (GRP).
 
The new reversing cold rolling mill will produce cold strip products with width of up to 1,270 mm primarily for use in the construction industry as facade and roof cladding material. The annual capacity of the new mill will amount to about 200,000 mt.

It is scheduled to start operations in spring 2017.
