Indonesia starts AD probe on aluminum-coated steel from Vietnam, China

The Indonesian antidumping committee (KADI) has announced that it has initiated an antidumping (AD) duty investigation against aluminum-coated steel imports from Vietnam and China. The investigation has been launched upon the application of the local steel producer PT NS Bluescope Indonesia.

Indonesia is likely to impose a preliminary antidumping duty on the products in question within five to six months.

The products subject to the investigation currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7210.61.11, 7212.50.23, 7212.50.24, 7212.50.29, 7225.99.90, 7226.99.19 and 7226.99.99.

Additionally, Indonesia also extended the antidumping duty on hot rolled plate import from China, Ukraine and Singapore in early August.
