India’s TSLPL posts reduced loss for Q1 FY 2023-24

India’s Tata Steel Long Products Limited (TSLPL), a subsidiary of Tata Steel, has reported a net loss of INR 2.391 billion ($29.10 million) in the first quarter (April-June) of the fiscal year 2023-24, compared to a net loss of INR 3.310 billion ($41.30 million) in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, a company regulatory filing said on Thursday, July 20.

The company reported total sales of INR 35.682 billion ($434.62 million) in the period in question, up 78.93 percent over the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
