Indian steelmaker JSW Steel has stated that it is looking for a small-size acquisition in the US or Europe. A company spokesperson declared, “We have already initiated talks with a few companies in the US and Europe, but nothing has been finalized yet”. JSW Steel is planning to acquire a value-added existing company having a capacity of between one to two million tons. The acquisition will give JSW Steel proximity to key global steel markets.
