Ilyich reports production results for Jan-Nov

According to its preliminary production data for the January-November 2006 period, the Ukrainian Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol (Ilyich) decreased production of finished steel products by 2.9 percent, raised production of crude steel by 0.8 percent, increased the production of pig iron by 3.9 percent and raised the production of pipes by 8.2 year on year. The respective figures in metric tons were 4.9 million, 6.4 million, 4.96 million 98,500. During the period in question, however, the enterprise experienced a reduction in its agglomerate output by 16.2 percent, producing 10.3 million metric tons. In November alone, Ilyich produced 475,000 metric tons of finished steel products, 579,000 metric tons of crude steel, 465,000 metric tons of pig iron, 940,000 metric tons of agglomerate and 7,800 metric tons of pipes.
