Ilyich decreases production in June

In June of 2006, Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol (Ilyich) decreased the production of crude steel, finished steel products and pig iron. In particular, the production of crude steel decreased 6.3 percent, that of pig iron decreased 7.1 percent and that of finished steel products decreased 6.2 percent month on month to 592,400 tons, to 447,200 tons and to 494,200 tons respectively in June of 2006.
