Hyundai Heavy Industries receives $12 million order for undersea pipelines

South Korean heavy industry company Hyundai Heavy Industries has won a $12 million-worth order for undersea gas pipelines from Vietsovpetro Joint Venture in Vietnam.

According to a statement from Hyundai Heavy Industries, the company will install 24.8 km of pipelines, six risers and a spool at the Dragon and Doi Moi oil field, located 120 km from Vung Tau, Vietnam.

The pipeline installation will be completed by July 2010.
