Hebei Steel starts hydrogen chromium molybdenum steel plate production

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Co. Ltd (Hebei Steel), listed subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group (HBIS), announced that it has started to produce its order of hydrogen chromium molybdenum steel plate, which is the thickest hydrogen chromium molybdenum steel plate Hebei Steel got, with the thickness of 200 mm, also the thickest one in domestic market. The hydrogen chromium molybdenum steel plate in question will be directly supplied to China-Kuwait Refining & Chemical Project invested 50 percent respectively by China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec Group) and Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), to be used in making high pressure separator. For a long time, this kind of products relied on imports.
