Hebei Steel Mining produces 6.609 million mt of iron ore concentrate in Jan-Nov

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group has announced that in the January-November period of this year its subsidiary Hebei Iron and Steel Group Mining Co. produced 6.609 million mt of iron ore concentrate, up 31.7 percent year on year.
 
In the given period, the subsidiary company achieved gross profits of RMB 984 million ($156 million). Meanwhile, the company’s average production cost of iron ore concentrate in the January-November period was 1.21 percent lower compared with the predicted cost.
