Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group has announced that in January this year its subsidiary Hebei Iron and Steel Group Mining Co. produced 611,407 mt of iron ore concentrate, up 1.29 percent year on year but relatively stable compared to the 611,000 mt produced in December last year.
Meanwhile, in January, Hebei Steel’s subsidiary Tangshan Iron and Steel Co. achieved total section steel sales amounting to 46,200 mt, 5.6 percent higher than the sales target for the given month.
