Hebei Jingye Group receives safety standard accreditation

Chinese company Hebei Jingye Group, which ranks 206th among China's top 500 enterprises and which has an annual steel production capacity of over 2 million mt, has become the first enterprise in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province to pass a new safety standard accreditation test, receiving the grade of second class metallurgical enterprise from the Shijiazhuang Administration of Work Safety of Hebei Province.

In accordance with the policy introduced by China's State Administration of Work Safety, this accreditation is graded as first class, second class, third class and failure. Domestic metallurgical enterprises having annual production capacities of over 2 million mt must achieve at least second class accreditation.

Hebei Jingye Group is a cross-industry group, whose principal business is in the iron and steel industry and which also has interests in the chemical industry and the hotel sector.
