Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Jingye Group has inked an agreement with Erzhong Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. a subsidiary of Sinomach Heavy Equipment Group Co., Ltd, for the construction of another 3,800 mm wide and thick steel plate rolling mill.
The project is for one of the most advanced double-rack wide and thick plate production lines with the most complete installed equipment for the same specification in China, which can produce two million mt of special wide and thick steel plate annually. After the completion of the project, it will further improve the product structure of Jingye Group’s steel products, and form a series of plate and strip products, which will be suitable for automobile, shipbuilding, high-end manufacturing, construction and other industries.
In 2022, Erzhong Heavy Equipment constructed the first 3,800 mm wide and thick plate rolling mill of Hebei Jingye Group, which was handed over in September this year and won praise from Jingye Group for good quality and timely delivery.
