In November this year, heavy truck sales in China amounted to around 94,000 units, up three percent month on month and increasing by 5.3 percent year on year, maintaining the year-on-year increasing trend since July this year, according to the data issued by cvworld.cn, a Chinese auto industry information service provider.

In the January-November period of the year, heavy truck sales in China totaled 1.0744 million units, increasing by one percent year on year. Market analysts estimate that heavy truck sales in China in 2019 will exceed 1.15 million mt, which would constitute a new annual record.

Market analysts think that the increasing demand for road transport, the restrictions on overloading vehicles and new emissions standards have contributed to the good sales activities for heavy trucks, which will likely continue in 2020.
