On Sep 24, Hebei Province-based Hangang Steel announced the ex-works prices of its main products for the month of October. The new prices are as follows:
1. The producer's HR price has declined RMB 650/mt ($95/mt) compared to September levels. As a result, the price of 2.75 mm Q235 material is now at RMB 4,940/mt ($725/mt), while 5.5 mm Q235 stands at RMB 4,750/mt ($697/mt)
2. The CR price is down RMB 650/mt ($95/mt) from the September levels. Thus, the price of 1.0 mm SPCC has fallen to RMB 5,550/mt ($814/mt). In addition, the cold rolled Full Hard steel price is RMB 600/mt ($88/mt) lower than September, and so 1.0 mm SPCC material now costs RMB 5,450/mt ($800/mt).
3. Pickled and oiled prices are RMB 470/mt ($69/mt) lower than in September. As a result, 3.0 mm SPHC now stands at RMB 5,350/mt ($785/mt).
4. Pre-painted galvanized iron prices are down RMB 320/mt ($46/mt) from September, and so 1.0 mm CGCC now costs RMB 6,880/mt ($1,008/mt).
5. HDG prices are down RMB 470/mt ($69/mt) on September levels, and so the price of 1.0 mm SGCC material now stands at RMB 6,150/mt ($903/mt).
6. HGI prices are RMB 270/mt ($39/mt) lower than in September. As a result, 3.0 mm SGH340 now costs RMB 5,950/mt ($873/mt).
All the prices above include 17 percent VAT and are valid for October.
