Hamil Steel to establish a mini-mill

According to recent news in the market, Midrex Technologies Inc (US) and Al-Ghaith Holdings (UAE) have signed an agreement to establish a new mini-mill and direct reduced iron plant to Hamil Steel. With the installation of a mini mill, Hamil Steel will produce about 300'000 tons of steel billets per annum. The materialization of the new projects will enable Hamil Steel to operate more efficiently, save energy and produce high quality products.
