Sweden-based H2 Green Steel has announced that it has signed a seven-year agreement with a value of €1.79 billion with Italian steelmaker Marcegaglia to supply green steel.
The green steel will be delivered from H2 Green Steel’s Boden plant in Sweden to Marcegaglia’s operations in southern Europe, the UK and Poland.
In April, H2 Green steel signed agreements with UK-based steel service center Steel Processing Midlands and German cold rolled steel strip producer Bilstein Group for the supply of low-carbon steel, as SteelOrbis previously reported.
