Guofeng Steel completes hot commissioning of 620 mm HR strip line

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Guofeng Iron and Steel Co. (Guofeng Steel) has announced that it has completed the hot commissioning of its new 620 mm hot rolled steel strip line, indicating a step forward by Guofeng Steel in the production of hot rolled narrow strip products.
 
The line in question, built with a total investment of RMB 260 million ($41.27 million), will be able to produce 800,000 mt of strip per year of 300-400 mm in width and 1.2-5.0 mm in thickness.
